Whilst the majority of claims run smoothly, a significant number either through lack of proactive management or communication, or disagreement become contentious resulting in disputes between the various parties. Often the best solution and often the most cost effective, is to refer to an independent party to mediate/arbitrate. This will involve both file review and site visits, meeting with all parties to arrive at an impartial decision based upon engineering and insurance issues. We will often take over the handling of the claim to ensure it achieves a satisfactory resolution.
